When Pixar came out with Toy Story in the middle of 1995, people were wondering what the story was actually all about. Was it like Pinocchio, the wooden toy who turned into a boy? Was it like Bambi, with friends so dear and true? Or was it like the Lion King, with enemies so deeply entrenched in their personal desires that nothing could ever dissuade them from doing evil?

It turns out that Toy Story was a bit of everything. A lot of humor, a bit of drama and a nice helping of adventure and action made Toy Story an instant hit, together with Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang.
