One important thing that the movie emphasized was that, in light of a tragedy, people can always turn their lives around for even something better. Brighter hopes and even brighter futures was the main aim of the story of Inspector Gadget and kids who grew up with the message of the movie soon realized that if they put their head and heart into something, 90% of the time they would succeed.
