Who would forget the cute Nemo from Finding Nemo? This feisty little fish showed just how a small guy can go out and conquer insurmountable odds with just plain willpower and very good friends. What makes Finding Nemo surprising was that it made use of very minimalist backdrops (mostly, the water from the Pacific) and yet the animation remained as enthralling as ever.

Coupled with the best illustrators and voice talents from Hollywood, Finding Nemo is indeed one of the few recent cult classics that would really survive the test of time.
