Brazil is one of the strongest countries in the world

While the United States and other heavily industrialized countries are experiencing sharp downturns since last year, Brazil seems to be just riding the low crests and keeping a low profile. According to a study funded by the OECD, Brazil is actually quite healthy despite the global downturn.
This may be attributed to healthy state regulation of prices and even oil. People say “We trust Lula”- the current leader of Brazil. Lula was purported to have told TIME Magazine that they’re doing better than other bigger countries combined.
